Catering at the Lace House

Approved Caterers and Requirements


The following is an approved caterer list for the Lace House. These companies have agreed to comply with the Lace House catering policies included in our rental contract.

If there is a caterer you are interested in working with that is not on the list that has the needed license and insurance requirements listed below, please contact Karen Hedgecock at khedgecock@scprt.com.
1. Current State of South Carolina Retail License,
2. Current City of Columbia Business License,
3. State of South Carolina DHEC Certificate (Grade A Rating required), and
4. Proof of Insurance covering: General liability  -  $1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate Liquor liability  -  (if applicable) $1 million per occurrence Automobile liability  -  to include Any auto, or Scheduled autos, Hired autos, and Non-owned autos -combined single limit $500,000  Workers compensation – (if you regularly employ four or more employees) for each accident $100,000/ disease-each employee $100,000 / disease policy limit $500,000.

Caterers are responsible for set up as well as removal of any leftover food, trash or alcoholic beverages from the premises. There is a dumpster located behind the Lace House. Please remember to protect all furniture from excessive heat and moisture. Please see the Rental Packet for details.
